we've made dog gear since 1988. the independent pet stores that carry alcott asked us for a tactical line, so we built this one the way we build everything else: tough where it has to be and soft where it touches the dog.
questions
is it a leash for everyday walks?
it can be, but it's built as a long line for training. for the daily walk, the 6 ft adventure leash is the better tool. use the long line for recall practice, tracking and open ground.

if you train mostly in parks and on trails, 20 ft. if you're working recall or tracking in open fields where he ranges further out, 30 ft.
will it snag in brush?
rope catches in heavy brush, like any rope line does. it's at home in fields, parks and on trails.
does it go with the collar and the harness?
yes. it's black with the same hardware, so it goes with every collar color and with the harness.
how much is shipping, and when does it ship?
US priority shipping is free on orders over $50 and $4.99 or less under it. the long line with the harness, or the full set, ships free. orders placed Monday to Thursday leave our Ohio warehouse the next business day; weekend orders go out Monday.
